A major telecommunication company in Germany wanted to optimize its DSL activation process and asked Solon for support.
Within eight months, a Solon team of six consultants analyzed and optimized the whole activation process by utilizing an end-to-end approach. The work included stabilizing the IT-systems, improving overall process efficiencies, optimizing interfaces to internal and external parties, and increasing transparency by introducing a detailed KPI reporting.
One year after the project started, the activation process was running much more smoothly. Activation times were drastically reduced and process capacity was increased by a factor of 10. The company was in a position to aggressively market its DSL product again.
