Maximizing the African opportunity in mobile

A global mobile operator wanted to develop a 5-year strategy and business plan to guide the CEOs of its respective African operations as they made operational and investment decisions.

After a short project ramp-up and initial meetings with senior management in London the Solon team held management workshops across each of the local African operations. We were able to develop a clear strategy for the business through a combination of leveraging our industry and market expertise, analysing operational and market data, and incorporating both senior and local management’s views on the individual markets.

The strategy that Solon helped to develop is already generating significant revenue growth and has assisted the mobile operator in moving into new business areas, unlocking further opportunities.
