Press Release: Pay TV Growth in Germany
After a long period of disappointing results, Pay TV experiences a strong growth in Germany. According to Solon estimates, about 20% of all German households will use some form of pay-for TV offer by 2013. In 2010, only 12% of all households were willing to pay in addition to the mandatory GEZ fee. At the Medientage conference, Solon invites to the panel discussion "Pay TV Growth: Is Germany not much different than the rest of the world" with senior executives from the industry.
